Dark Age of Camelot nebude ničím jiným než MMORPG, což jak jistě všichni víme, není zase nic jiného než trochu delší zkratka pro žánr multiplayerových RPG. Prostřednictvím této hry se hráči přenesou do světa Albionu v obodbí následujícím po smrti krále Artuše, kdy zemí otřásají temné síly, které se snaží spořádané království proměnit v chaos.
